My Story

It all began in early 1999. I was deeply depressed, very unhealthy, in an unfulfilling job and an unsatisfying relationship, and it was beginning to dawn upon me that I had never actually felt any different, had never managed to reach, never mind maintain, any level of personal contentment or discover true meaning to my life.

Upon this realisation, I was suddenly overwhelmed by a powerful urge to change all this, and within moments of this sudden change of mind and heart a series of synchronicities was set in motion, each more wondrous than the one before. The steps I had to take began to appear before me, one after another, and as I followed each clue, it took me nearer and nearer to my true destiny. I was led to Reiki and within a year I had become both an Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master and a Karuna Reiki Master.

As soon as I received my first Reiki attunement, I experienced a sense of profound inner peace and connectedness to all things. From that moment on I began to see energy fields around people as well as around animate and inanimate objects. I saw a universe that is alive and radiating with light. I began to feel energy, see energy, understand energy, feel the incredible power of unconditional love and know that this energy is real and the foundation of all life. My health improved dramatically, I left my job, ended my relationship and dedicated myself completely to this new world that had opened up to me.

During this magical time I also began to experience powerful surges of electrical energy throughout my body and the strange sensation of strings being pulled out of me. I saw, felt and even heard large figure eight, circular and geometric patterns of light moving all around and within me. Nobody I spoke to seemed to be able to explain what all this meant and it was mystifying for a long time.

After appealing to the universe to provide me with some explanation, soon afterwards I came across a book called Kryon book seven “Messages from home” and as I read a chapter in that book about the EMF Balancing Technique, it all became clear. A strange sensation overcame me as I read and I knew that I was going to teach this technique.

In May 2000 my partner Michael Bennett and I took the Practitioner Training of the first four phases (Phases I-IV) of this work in Paris with Peggy Phoenix Dubro (the originator of the technique) and later that year, in October, we trained to be a teacher in Belgium, again with Peggy.

For the next few years we were incredibly busy with a thriving and flourishing EMF Balancing Technique practice. We taught around 200 people, gave hundreds of sessions and were also honoured to be asked to co-teach a practitioner training with Peggy in London in 2002.

The results of the sessions and trainings were amazing. People reported many benefits from a sense of empowerment, new levels of well-being, breakthoughs in their personal challenges, physical improvements. My own personal transformation was so accelerated and extraordinary that I was moved to write a little book about it – The Little Book on EMF.

In 2003 my son was born and I focused all my attention on being a full-time mother and raising him according to the principles of all that I was teaching and learning. The hardships of trying to raise my higly sensitive, extremely bright, highly active, developmentally challenged child in a spiritually aware, natural and heart-based way really opened my eyes to the difficulties that many parents and children face in today’s world. I now feel a very strong connection to children and a real concern for their well-being.

In 2007 I took the practitioner training in the next 4 phases (Phases V-VIII) of the work. I was really happy to see that Peggy had developed a programme for children and in September 2010 I took the Lattice Logic for Children Training. In the same month of that year I also attended the Symbol workshop, a new way of using the Lattice for empowering our intents.

In February 2012 I completed my training in Phases IX-XII and also XIII of the technique. These last phases brought about a quantum shift in my perception and I feel that I have graduated to becoming a “new human” on this new earth and evolved into the energy of active co-creator and the understanding of my Infinite self.

It has been a long journey! I am now beginning to practice and teach EMF again and I feel that the wisdom and knowledge I gained as a mother will enhance my work and enrich my teaching. This technique is an empowering way of life. It helps you to sort yourself out, take control, manage your personal energy, experience love and connectedness to all things. And also, importantly, it helps you to hold and integrate the new energies we are currently experiencing and gives you a way to stabilise yourself during these times of fast shifts in consciousness.
